Purpose and Background

Clean surroundings are essential for public health and dignity. Many slum areas face serious problems ofgarbage, unsafe water, pollution, and disease. The Foundation aims to promote cleanliness, recycling, and waste control.Slum communities often suffer from accumulated waste, blocked drains, unsafe drinking water, mosquitoes, disease, and lack of municipal services. Children are especially affected by dirty surroundings because theyare exposed to infections, respiratory issues, skin diseases, and unsafe play areas. The Foundation will promote slum cleaning, waste management, recycling, and hygiene awareness as a publichealth mission. Recycling will also be encouraged as a productive practice so that useful waste materials canbe reused, reduced, or converted into value where possible.

A picture may show volunteers cleaning a slum area, collecting waste, and educating residents about hygiene. Another image
may show recyclable waste being separated and reused productively.
