Environmental Protection and Climate Control

Purpose and Background

Sindh Legal Aid Welfare Foundation aims to work actively for environmental protection and climate awareness.Climate change is one of the biggest threats to Sindh, especially for poor communities, farmers, coastal populations, and people living in vulnerable areas.Environmental protection is directly connected with health, agriculture, drinking water, livelihood, and human dignity. Poor communities suffer the most when pollution increases, trees disappear, drainage systems fail,heatwaves become more severe, and floods destroy homes and livelihoods.The Foundation will treat climate control and environmental safety as public welfare issues. Its programs will promote awareness, local action, plantation, recycling, clean neighborhoods, disaster preparedness, and collaboration with experts. The objective is to help communities understand that a clean and safe environmentis not a luxury; it is a basic requirement for a healthy life.
